Arrival in Nepal and Preparation
Day 01

Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport:

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your expedition team. Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu for check-in.

Rest and Acclimatization

Rest and recover from the long flight. Take time to adjust to the time zone and the city’s altitude.

Dinner and Introduction

The evening may include a welcome dinner where you can meet the rest of the expedition team, guides, and Sherpas. Overnight at Hyatt Place Kathmandu or Dwarika’s Hotel.

Day 02

Expedition Briefing:

A detailed session covering the itinerary, safety, climbing techniques, and logistics to prepare you for the expedition. Gear Check: Final check of all gear with your guides, ensuring everything is ready. Last-minute gear purchases can be made in Kathmandu.

Explore Kathmandu’s cultural landmarks.

Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)

Day 03

Helicopter Flight to Lukla

Early morning helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a popular start for trekking in the Everest region.

Trek to Phakding (2610m)

After arriving at Lukla, begin your trek towards Phakding. The journey is gentle with scenic views of the lush valley and passing through small Sherpa villages.

Stay at Shangrila Resort, a comfortable lodge where you can rest after your first day of trekking.

Day 04

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Trek through beautiful forests of rhododendron and pine, passing traditional Sherpa villages along the way. You will cross several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River.

Namche Bazaar

Arrive in Namche Bazaar, the largest town in the Khumbu region, known for its vibrant markets and amazing views of Everest and surrounding peaks.

Overnight in Namche Bazaar

Stay at Hotel Sherpa Land, a cozy hotel in the heart of Namche.

Day 05

Acclimatization Hike

Hike from Namche Bazaar to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for stunning views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and more. This helps with altitude adjustment.

Lunch at Everest View Hotel

Enjoy a meal with panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Return to Namche Bazaar

Descend back to Namche Bazaar, where you can explore the vibrant market with shops, cafes, and bakeries.

Overnight in Namche Bazaar

Rest at Hotel Sherpa Land, a comfortable retreat to recover after the hike.

Day 06

Trek to Tyangboche (3860m)

Begin the trek towards Tyangboche Monastery, passing beautiful forests and villages along the way. Tyangboche is one of the most iconic places in the Everest region, offering a breathtaking view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Continue to Debuche: After visiting the monastery, continue trekking to Debuche and stay at Rivendell Lodge.

Day 07

Trek to Dingboche (4243m)

Trek from Debuche to Dingboche, a small village with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The trek will take you through barren, high-altitude terrain, past memorials for fallen climbers on the Everest trail.

Stay at Tashi Delek Hotel, offering comfort and a warm atmosphere after the trek.

Day 08

Rest and Acclimatization

Full rest day in Dingboche to acclimatize to the high altitude.

Acclimatization Hike

After breakfast, take an acclimatization hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,050m) for panoramic views of the Khumbu Valley, Makalu, and Lhotse. Return to Dingboche for an overnight stay.

Trek to Lobuche (4940m)

Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5150m) and Everest Base Camp (5364m)

Rest and Acclimatization

Ice Climbing Training

Participate in essential ice climbing training at the Khumbu Icefall. Learn the use of ice axes, crampons, fixed ropes, and ladder crossings required for higher camps.

Return to Base Camp

After training, return to Everest Base Camp for rest, hydration, and recovery.

Morning training session to refine climbing techniques and build confidence for upcoming rotations.

Trek to Lobuche High Camp

Begin the journey from Everest Base Camp to Lobuche High Camp. This trek aids acclimatization and offers spectacular Himalayan views.

Lobuche Peak Summit (6,119m)

Early morning ascent to the summit of Lobuche Peak. Enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and surrounding peaks before descending to High Camp.

Descent to Base Camp

Descend from Lobuche High Camp back to Everest Base Camp. Rest and recover while preparing for advanced technical training.

Day 17–18

Advanced Icefall Training

Two days of intensive training in the Khumbu Icefall focusing on rope work, crevasse navigation, and ladder crossings.

Acclimatization Hike to Pumori Camp I

Acclimatization hike to Pumori Camp I (5,600m) offering stunning views of Everest and surrounding peaks.

Rest and Recovery in Kathmandu
Day 19–20

Helicopter Flight to Kathmandu

Fly from Everest Base Camp to Kathmandu for rest and rejuvenation. Enjoy luxury accommodation, nutritious meals, and complete recovery before the summit rotation.

Return to Everest Base Camp
Day 21

Fly Back to Base Camp

Return to Everest Base Camp by helicopter. Rejoin the expedition team and begin final preparations for the rotation phase.

Ascent to Camp III (7,100m)

Climb the steep Lhotse Face using fixed ropes. Touch Camp III before descending back to Camp II.

Weather and Rest Contingency
Day 27–28

Extra Days for Weather or Rest

Buffer days to accommodate weather conditions or additional recovery before the summit push.

Summit Push Preparation
Day 29

Ascent to Camp III (7,300m)

Ascend higher on the Lhotse Face to Camp III as part of the final summit push.

South Col Ascent
Day 30

Ascent to Camp IV (7,900m)

Reach Camp IV at the South Col. Rest and prepare for the summit climb starting late at night.

Summit Day
Day 31

Summit of Mount Everest (8,848.86m)

Begin summit push around 10 PM and reach the top of the world by morning. Descend to Camp IV or Camp II afterward.

Descend to Camp II

Continue descending safely through higher camps back to Camp II.

Completion of Climbing Phase

Return to Base Camp

Descend fully to Everest Base Camp. Pack equipment and celebrate the successful completion of the climb.

Fly to Kathmandu
